The Lagos State Police Command has Arrested 4 suspect in the investigation of the death of a college former Councillor Nurudeen Sanni.

Tosin Olabisi (19), Sherif Agbomeji (20), Jimoh Ibrahim (19), Rasaki Ayinde (41), Rasheed Odumade (19) – had gone on a robbery operation on Musiliu Muritala Street, Poka, Epe, sometime in December 2016. as reported by Punch metro.

The robbers had their operation at 12:00am, stole valuables and then shot the 41year old Nurudeen on the head.

We also learnt that a member of this gang went to a neighbouring street to burgle a house.

According to eyewitness, he couldn't go out anymore because the owner of the house had call on Mob to surround the house.

During interrogation at the police station, he confessed that it was his gang that robbed on Musiliu Muritala Street a few days earlier, adding that they were the ones that killed the man. He gave information on the whereabouts of members of the gang.“This made operatives to round up the gang memeber, who also confessed to the crime.”
the four suspects were lined up before a magistate court in Ebute Metta, over four counts charges of murder and robberry.

an investigative department said that these four confessed to be guilty and there were fingerprint evidences against them as well.

 The Chief Magistrate, Mrs. O.I. Adelaja, upheld the application of the prosecutor, saying the defendants should be remanded pending the release of legal advice.
The case was adjourned till March 17, 2017, for DPP’s legal advice.
