An Civil organisation has moved to ensure that no Nigerian voter is cheated of his privilege of his/her right to vote in 2019

The organisation said it will ensure that eligible voters connect to achieve a common goal of developing Nigeria 



A Nigerian Civil group has said it will make sure every eligible voters in Nigeria exercises his/her right in the forthcoming 2019 election.



According to The Voters' Union It said it is important that no single eligible Nigerian voter is disenfranchised at the polls in 2019.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, May 23, the president of the Voters' Union, Olabisi Diana, said It will become the voice of the people before, during and after the election.
Diana noted that the Voters' Union through its advocacy programs and platforms will ensure that eligible voters connect to achieve a common goal of developing Nigeria.

She said:

 "We envision a nation of well-informed passionate voters that are hard to be compromised in order to increase voters access to information, educate voters on voter's rights, duties and responsibilities, create voter awareness and increase voter participation.
Diana also added that the union in collaboration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) also intend, "to become a force for voters and civic education through a united voice stronger message." She said.
