His voice was identified as the male voice in a leaked Sex-for-mark audio which emanated from the school has gone viral on social media by members of his church.

According to Press, Akindele who is a lecturer of Management and accounting who is also a pastor. Fellow lecturers and church members confirmed it's his voice in the so called audio.

The lady in question who is a final year student failed Akindele's course and has been trying all efforts to get the attention of the educationist but all to no avail since Monday.

Although He is yet to comment on the accusations which is seeming to be true. Premium time went to the church of the alleged to make inquiries about the voice in the audio, in which was still confirmed to be his.

The voice in the leaked audio is exactly that of Reverend Richard Akindele. However, the man is too gentle for such act. The lady purposely set him up.” . Member said .

Through an interview with another member, it was gathered that his church members visited Akindele’s residence on Tuesday morning but met his wife only, who reportedly blamed the devil for her husband's misfortune.

A cleric in the church who simply identified himself as Reverend Adeola said: “Although, the voice I heard is that of Reverend Akindele, I doubt he can do that. I’m not in best position to speak. But what I can say for free is that I know him to be a man of God, generous and easy going.” .

A press conference earlier slated to hold was cancelled by the V.C of OAU, Vice Chancellor, Eyitope Ogunbodede, on Tuesday.
