Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who has been in detention  for as far back as 24 days, yesterday, was given freedom .

 Fani-Kayode, who was the Director of Media and Publicity in the campaign group of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, was discharged after he completed his perfection conditions gave to him by the Abuja Federal High Court.

He is offering an explanation to a five-count charge favored as a detriment to him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The charge borders on alleged N26million fraud.

 Trial Justice John Tsoho had on Thursday, requested remand of the litigant at Kuje Prison in Abuja, pending flawlessness of his perfection terms.

The court particularly conceded the ex-Minister safeguard to the tune of N50m, even as he was additionally requested to deliver one surety in like whole. As per the court, the surety must be inhabitant in Abuja, as well as be a proprietor of a landed property inside the Federal Capital Territory.

Also, Fani-Kayode was requested to surrender his international passport. In the interim, addressing writer soon after he was discharged, Fani-Kayode who was gotten by his significant other and companions, said he was happy to be out of Kuje Prison where he burned through three days.
