Popular Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, widely called KWAM 1, was yesterday questioned by the Ogun State Police Command over the alleged shooting of a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye.

Kwam 1 as he is called by fans, arrived at the state police headquarters, at Abeokuta(elewe eran) about 11am,
was interrogated for about six hours by operatives attached to the Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Bureau (CIIB).
However, he was released on bail on the condition that his surety would provide him anytime he is needed by the police.
One of Wasiu's band members had on October 11 allegedly shot a female student known as Azeez Kofoworola during a musical show organised at a hotel in Ago-Iwoye.
The shooting led to a precarious end of the party. The victim, who was inside an unregistered Honda Accord car, was said to have been rushed to the General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode for medical attention.
From the the time of occurrence, the police have invited the musician to come and give statement which he eventually honoured.
The acting state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the interrogation of the musician, said the case was transferred to the CIIB on the orders of the Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali.
Oyeyemi told journalists that Ayinde left the premises of the police command about 5:30pm on the promise that he would make himself available for further investigation.
